Pour l'eternité

This creation is among the most captivating I have ever made. I began with acrylics and a warm, earthy palette, giving free rein to my imagination. Shades of yellow and bright white emerged gradually after the ochres. And finally, sky blue enhanced the whole.

Once the background was dry, I laid it horizontally: a sketch of the sky took shape. On the left, a more chaotic feel gives it character, echoing the luminous halo. I then intensified the light, applying pure oil paint with dominant yellow, gold, and white pigments. The light was revealed. At that moment, the singularity of the composition appeared to me as if I were not its author: it had a mystical aspect: I had captured the precise moment when the sky had Ablaze.

Created while listening to "The Rose" by Ólafur Arnalds, which inspired me and contributed to a symbiosis with my artistic journey.
