Parfum d'orient

With this canvas, I attempted to paint the invisible, those moments when light hesitates between sky and earth. This painting was born from a quest for silence, inspired by the morning mists rising over the old villages of Oman and the contemplative atmosphere of the music on Rosalia's latest album, especially the almost lyrical tracks. Pearl grays and golden ochres converse within the medium—acrylic and marble dust—creating reliefs that capture the light like a breath. It is an invitation to meditation. Between lyrical abstraction and the memory of the landscape, I seek to translate the emotion felt before such beauty.
